This is one of my favorite holiday recipes. It comes from my grandmother; every year when she would send us our Christmas gifts she would include a package of these wonderful bars :). The recipe is very simple but the bars are rich and delicious!You will need:
- 1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 pkg butterscotch chips
- 1/2 pkg mini-marshmallows
- 1/2 canister of peanuts
Step one:
In a double boiler, combine and gently melt down the chocolate and butterscotch chips
Step two:
Remove the mixture from heat and stir in the marshmallows and peanuts. (This must be done quickly as the chocolate mix will begin to cool.)
Step three:
Pour mixture into a 9x13 pan and let cool. Cut into small bars and serve.
